General Policies: Acceptance of all advertising is subject to Gateway to L.A.'s approval and agreement by the Advertiser to indemnify and protect Gateway to L.A. from loss and expense on claims and suits based upon contents of advertisements. This includes, but is not limited to libel, plagiarism, copyright infringement and unauthorized use of person’s name or photograph. The Advertiser indemnifies and holds harmless Gateway to L.A. for any and all losses (including but not limited to reasonable attorney’s fees) resulting from Gateway to L.A. exercising its right to not post submissions from the Advertiser. Permitted Advertisements shall mean and refer to only commercial advertisements which propose a commercial transaction. Permitted Advertisements shall not include any of the following: political speech, including, but not limited to advertisement implying a position for or against any political candidate, public issue or subject; advertisements promoting alcohol or tobacco products; false, misleading, or deceptive advertisement; advertisements that promote illegal activity or which advocate violence or crime; advertisements that infringe upon any copyright, patent or service mark; advertisements implying a position for or against any religion; and/or other noncommercial advertisement or noncommercial speech. Contracts are non-cancelable 30 days prior to first posting. Any cancellations within 30 days will be accessed a 10% penalty fee of the contract’s gross cost. Back to the top |
